How is Xeomin made

Xeomin 100U is supplied as a fine powder containing 100 units of Botulinum toxin type A. It must be diluted with preservative-free 0.9% sterile saline before use.
Note: The powder is extremely fine and may look almost invisible in the vial. This is normal — all units are present.
Step-by-Step Dilution Instructions
Inspect the Xeomin 100U vial. The powder will appear as a thin, nearly invisible layer at the bottom or walls of the vial.
Draw the chosen amount of preservative-free 0.9% Sodium Chloride into a sterile syringe, based on the dilution chart above.
Slowly inject the saline into the vial. Allow the natural vacuum to pull in the solution where applicable.
Gently swirl or invert the vial to mix. Do not shake vigorously. The solution should become clear and colorless.
Store the reconstituted solution in a refrigerator at 2–8°C and use within 24 hours. Do not freeze after reconstitution.
