Step 1: General preparation for treatment

Isotonic sodium solution
Saline solution is often used to prepare botulinum toxins and other products for use. This solution contains 0.9% sodium chloride (NaCl), making it isotonic — its osmotic pressure is equal to that inside our cells. A cell immersed in an isotonic solution is in equilibrium with its environment. Water molecules pass through the cell membrane in equal amounts, neither accumulating nor being lost by the cell. This state is the safest — the physiological state — for our cells, preventing damage.

Step 3: Numbing
Anesthesia is not always necessary for injectable cosmetic procedures. Microneedling procedures, for example, usually do not require it. However, if you experience discomfort, applying anesthesia to your face or body is a sensible decision.
It is important to remember that these medical products should be used with caution by:
- people with allergies;
- those who experience seizures and other nervous system disorders;
- those with heart problems, liver or kidney disease;
- older people.
Anesthetics should be stored in a sealed container at room temperature, out of reach of children, and away from direct sunlight.
Numbing creams
Dermapril cream is a fast-acting local anesthetic that contains 25 mg/mL of lidocaine and 25 mg/mL of prilocaine. It provides fast, effective, and reliable numbing and is suitable for all types of injectable cosmetic procedures.
SM Cream Lidocaine is one of the most popular anesthetics in cosmetic clinics and beauty salons. It is used for mesotherapy, laser resurfacing, chemical peels, tattooing, permanent makeup, anti-aging procedures, etc.
Its high lidocaine concentration eliminates pain from injections up to 8 mm deep, allowing SM Cream Lidocaine to be used when administering lipolytics. The analgesic effect lasts up to 90 minutes. Additionally, this cream is economical; a small amount provides effective anesthesia.
Apply SM Cream Lidocaine to clean skin and cover it with plastic wrap. After 20–30 minutes, remove the wrap and wipe off any remaining cream with a clean cloth. Then, you can proceed with the injections.
Numbing spray
Beracaine spray provides rapid numbing within 1-2 minutes after application. It is easy to apply and has a long-lasting effect (up to 1.5 hours). Compared to creams, it has a more superficial effect and is therefore more suitable for anesthesia during microneedling.
The spray dose can be adjusted according to age, individual sensitivity, and the area to be anesthetized. One spray contains 10 mg of lidocaine, and the maximum daily dose for an average adult is 200 mg (20 sprays). Do not exceed this dose.
Step 4: Microneedling Devices
Microneedling are much easier to use than manual cosmetic product injection. These micro-invasive procedures carry fewer risks and allow for more precise product dosing.
These devices work by using needles to create microscopic channels in the skin. These channels allow cosmetic products to penetrate directly into the dermis, reaching depths of up to 2 mm. This increases the products’ effectiveness by delivering the active ingredients exactly where they will work.
Areas of application for microneedling devices include:

How to use a microneedling device?

- Treat small areas of skin at a time, moving the device in all directions.
- Do not press too hard on the skin, as this may cause irritation.

What should you do if something goes wrong?
You may not be satisfied with the results of the injections. For instance, when using hyaluronic acid for facial and body contouring, the filler could be distributed incorrectly or unevenly under the skin. In this case, Liporase can help.
