Beracaine Spray by Firson is a fast-acting, spray-on anesthetic designed to deliver quick and effective pain relief during minor procedures.

Formulated with lidocaine, it numbs the skin within 1–2 minutes, providing comfort for cosmetic treatments such as tattooing, piercing, and permanent makeup. Its convenient spray format allows for precise application without the mess of creams, while its versatility also makes it suitable for dental or medical use under professional supervision.

Indications

Beracaine Spray is intended for temporary numbing of the skin and mucous membranes before or during minor procedures, including:

Cosmetic treatments such as tattooing, piercing, and permanent makeup

Injection-based cosmetic procedures to minimize discomfort

Dental treatments such as impressions and X-rays (under medical supervision)

Otorhinolaryngology procedures involving the throat, larynx, or nasal area

Obstetric and gynecological applications requiring localized anesthesia during examinations or minor procedures

Minor dermatological procedures such as laser treatments, microneedling, or skin resurfacing

Active Ingredients

Lidocaine (10%) – A fast-acting local anesthetic that temporarily blocks nerve signals in the skin and mucous membranes, providing effective pain relief within minutes of application. It ensures comfort during minor cosmetic, dental, or medical procedures by numbing the targeted area safely and efficiently.

Mechanism of Action

Beracaine Spray Nozzle

Beracaine Spray works by delivering lidocaine, a local anesthetic that temporarily blocks the transmission of nerve impulses responsible for sensing pain. When sprayed onto the skin or mucous membrane, lidocaine penetrates the surface and inhibits sodium ion channels within nerve cells.

This interruption prevents pain signals from reaching the brain, resulting in a rapid numbing effect within 1–2 minutes of application. The anesthetic effect typically lasts 1–2 hours, providing sufficient comfort during short procedures.

What Makes Beracaine Spray Lidocaine Different?

Beracaine Spray offers a more convenient and effective alternative to traditional numbing creams. Its spray-on formula allows quick and even application, delivering a 10% lidocaine concentration that provides rapid anesthesia within 1–2 minutes and lasts up to 2 hours. Developed by Firson in South Korea, it’s known for its high-quality formulation, versatility across cosmetic and medical procedures, and safe re-application when used within recommended limits—making it a dependable choice for professionals seeking fast, targeted pain relief.

Treatment Areas

Beracaine Spray can be applied to various external skin and mucosal surfaces where temporary anesthesia is needed, including:

  • Injection sites to minimize pain during filler or mesotherapy treatments

  • Oral cavity (gums, inner cheeks, and mucosa) for dental procedures under professional supervision
